Born in 1999 in Seoul, South Korea, Young Jun Kim's passion for art led him to a career in jewelry design. His journey began at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia, and he honed his creativity at Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, a pivotal moment for his future.
After high school in New York and pursuing a BFA in Jewelry Design at Pratt Institute, Young Jun faced an interruption due to COVID-19, leading to mandatory military service in South Korea. He returned to New York in 2022, immersing himself in the art scene.
During an internship at "Title of Work," a prominent jewelry design firm, he participated in key exhibitions like New York City Jewelry Week and gained recognition in a leading jewelry magazine as one of 50 featured artists.
Graduating from Pratt in 2024, he became a Fine Jewelry Jeweler at Krainz Creations, crafting pieces for clients such as Harry Winston. Young Jun is committed to advancing his craft with innovation and artistry, promising a bright future in the jewelry design industry.
